Competition Secretary - 2015 -

I have been bowling for 4 years outdoors at Bookham. (and for the same time indoors at Mole Valley). I am currently secretary of the Thursday afternoon triples league, so please contact me if you are interested in joining it. I have had some success in club competitions, winning both the singles Bookham Cup and Victoria Cup and the pairs Jubilee Shield with Colin Cooper and Tony Moore respectively. My working life was spent in various academic posts in Universities and my interests include travel, digital photography, natural history, walking, music (especially opera) and playing snooker in the local league. My wife Liz also bowls, but is a playing member at East Horsley and a social member at Bookham (don't ask!!!). We have 3 grandchildren (aka the muppets) by our daughter Cathy and love looking after them regularly
