Our two Come and Try sessions last weekend yielded a very satisfactory result. We had 28 visitors who 'gave it a try' and 17 of these were sufficiently enthused to complete application forms for our pre-membership coaching programme which will start soon. One visitor had previous experience of the sport and so completed a full playing member application form.

We had advertised the event widely using posters, brochures, email and letter drops, local radio and social media. However in the end it was member recommendations which brought in the most visitors followed by several others seeing our posters and flyers around the village.

We now look forward to welcoming new members into the Club once the coaching is over and integrating them into our varied bowling and social activities.
