On Sunday 11th July, we visited West End Bowling Club to play 2 mixed rinks in the area quarter-final of the Tony Allcock Trophy.
In cloudy but dry weather, both matches were closely fought, but Bookham managed to win on both rinks. The final scores were 12 – 11 and 18 – 13. Thanks go to the players Bill and Jo Shaw, Liz Attwood , Tony Moore, Roger Dodds, Margaret Boileau, Prue Miles, David Emery, Derek Morris and Jane Fiducia.
The semi-final will be played on Sunday 18th July at Milford.
