Milford v. Bookham - Final score 24 -28

Bookham started the match really well with Rink 2 scoring 7 on the first end and by end 6 both teams were leading well. However Milford came back into the game strongly in the second half. Rink 2 finished their game 18-13 being 5 shots ahead. Tension mounted as Rink 1 entered their last end as Milford were 3 shots ahead and were holding 5 as the skips played their last end . The Milford skip took the jack back into two Bookham bowls behind therefore handing the rink & the overall game to Bookham.

Rink 2 Bill Shaw, Jo Shaw Liz Attwood, Tony<Moore (skip) Won 18 - 13

Bookham won by 4 shots overall (aggregate score).

Bookham are now through to the Area final v Camberley A or Egham B at a neutral venue to be played on or before 8th August.
