What a game! The ladies in the above game played a blinder. We ended up with an extra end. Horley were holding and Jo played her last wood into the head and hit it head on moving the jack. At first we were not sure where the jack went but it ended up next to Horley’s bowl giving them one shot.

This game was played as a game of bowls should be played. Friendly and appreciative of all good bowls. Horley congratulated the players and spectators on how friendly we all were and Horley were most appreciative of our support for their good bowls.

We wish Horley the very best in the next round. A great effort from both teams.
