A long day of bowling but very successful with everybody saying how much they had enjoyed it. The weather was also kind with a perfect temperature and only a brief shower in the morning session.

The 5 visiting club teams were from Ashtead, Cuddington, Reigate Priory, Ripley and Woking Park with 5 Bookham teams facing them as their opponents.

The overall crown went to Bookham B team (Claire Corben, Mike Ellis, Lesley Searle and Vic Davies) who won all 5 of their games against the visiting clubs.

However, the trophy is only won by one of the visiting clubs and it went to Cuddington (4 wins) for the third year in a row – although they were drawing with 3 of the other clubs with just the last set to be played !

Many thanks to Steve Edmonds for organising both the order of play and the scoring. Also to the catering and bar staff who spent all day serving over 50 people with lunch, dinner and refreshments.

All in all, a very good day !
