This afternoon at Malden Manor I was really looking forward to that sweet smell of revenge after they dumped us out of the same competition last year.

Any semblance of such sweetness swiftly dispersed under sunny skies and a gentle breeze and a distinctly less palatable smell took over.

A whiff of Deja Vu took over as both Home and Away teams were steamrollered into early deficits, which proved impossible to recover from.  Beaten by two superior teams on the day, our unbeaten run in this year's "Home and Away" series (one bye, and one walkover), is over.

Losing 25-8 away and 18-12 at home. Malden Manor claim an aggregate win 43-20.
