Ladies day was an enjoyable and successful event with 26 ladies playing. It was great to welcome 2 new members Yvonne Robinson and Karen Lyle to the afternoon. The success of an event depends on everyone getting involved so many thanks to all those that supported the afternoon.

A welcome Pimm’s helps the afternoon’s atmosphere, so many thanks to our ‘Pimm’s Queen’ Liz A and thanks to all the ladies who contributed to the delicious sandwiches and cakes and Carol and Sue P for plating the food up.

The raffle was a great success raising a magnificent £120 for LeatherHEAD START the ‘Captain’s Charity’.

And finally the bowling, congratulations to Christine and the ‘Pink’ vice captain’s team for the decisive win. I have never been in the winning team which was no difference this year. Maybe next year I will get to win the cup!
