Over the four sessions of our "Give Bowls a Try" recruitment weekend, we were visited by 20 members of the public who showed an interest in taking up our sport.  If we add to that two candidates who were in the pipeline, we have secured enquiries from twenty-two potential new members.

To date ten have completed pre-membership coaching application forms and a number of them have already commenced their training.

The main methods that were used to attract candidates were posters, member introductions, a stall in the High Street and the Look Local advert and feature.  Each of these systems attracted candidates.
