Sunday 13th June 2021 Away to Tongham Bowls Club

On a hot, sunny day with temperatures set to soar further, Bookham travelled to Tongham (near Aldershot) for this fixture which comprised of two mixed rinks using 2 bowls over 15 ends. After a quiet start, Bookham began to ease into the lead and eventually ran out the winners.

Bookham B

Bill Shaw, Liz Attwood, Jo Shaw, Tony Moore (skip) won 16 - 6

Well done to all that took part including the travelling reserves and Bookham members who attended to support the teams .It is worthy to note that a visiting team to Tongham stated ' how smart our teams looked, especially the club shirts '. We now await the winners of West End v. Egham 'A' in the next round.
