The captains of Bookham Bowling Club, Richard Sealy and Shirley Prentice were delighted to hand over a much needed cheque to the Horsley & Bookham Riding for the Disabled club just before Christmas. The sum of almost £1200 was raised throughout the bowls season by means of donations, fines and a dedicated charity day for them.
